In a future where The Netherlands has been flooded for some time, Fenna (42) lives high above the vast sea in a wind turbine that she has transformed into her home. But when a violent storm sweeps her far from home, she must navigate a labyrinth of half-flooded, perilous islands and diverse communities. Along the way, she begins the question the harsh, solitary life she has chosen, and new encounters gradually awaken old feelings she thought she had buried.
